Description:
(King)
Yazdegerd III was the final Sasanian King of Kings of Iran, ruling from 632 to 651. He encountered difficulties due to limited authority, as army commanders and aristocrats held significant power. The Sasanian Empire weakened internally and faced invasions from the Göktürks and Khazars. Yazdegerd was unable to stop the Arab invasion, which led to his downfall in 651, signifying the end of the pre-Islamic Iranian empire after more than 400 years of rule.
