He gained international acclaim as the lead singer of Daði & Gagnamagnið, a music group hailing from Iceland. Daði was selected to represent Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the track "Think About Things," but the event was ultimately canceled. He later participated in Eurovision 2021 with the song "10 Years," achieving a commendable fourth place. Daði also showcased his musical prowess with a cover performance during the 2023 competition.
