Erzsébet Kocsis, a Hungarian former handball player, enjoyed a successful career both internationally and at the club level. She was honored as the IHF World Player of the Year in 1995 and achieved notable success while representing the Hungarian national team, earning medals at the Olympics and World Championship. Kocsis also excelled in her club career with Dunaújváros, securing victories in the EHF Cup Winners' Cup, EHF Cup, and EHF Champions League. Despite retiring in 2000, she returned in 2009 to assist her former team to avoid relegation.
