Gábor Talmácsi, a former professional motorcycle racer from Hungary, had a successful career highlighted by winning the 2007 125cc World Championship. He is the first and only Hungarian to achieve a road racing World Championship title. Following his retirement in 2013 due to a leg injury, Talmácsi shifted to team ownership and founded Talmácsi Racing. The team participated in the European Superstock 600 Championship using Honda CBR600RRs until the series concluded in 2015.
