Mireya Agüero is a Honduran politician who served as Minister for Foreign Affairs. With a background in law and international relations, she started her career in civil service in 1981 and moved to the foreign service in 1983. She became Minister for Foreign Affairs in May 2013 under President Porfirio Lobo and resigned in 2014 during President Juan Orlando Hernández's term. Subsequently, her niece, María Dolores Agüero, was appointed as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs.
