María Trinidad del Cid was a prominent Honduran writer, journalist, and feminist activist known for her significant contributions to women's rights in Honduras. She began her career as a schoolteacher before transitioning to journalism, writing for various publications and representing Honduras in educational conferences. Trinidad del Cid served as a spokesperson for the Society of Geography and History of Honduras and was actively involved in organizations promoting women's political rights. She founded the Honduran Women's Committee, launched a magazine promoting women's suffrage, and authored works of poetry and novels. Trinidad del Cid continued her involvement in education and activism until her passing in 1966.
