Arnold Fabián Peralta Sosa, a footballer from Honduras, gained recognition for his skills as a defensive midfielder. He began his career with Vida and later joined the Scottish club Rangers, where he triumphed by clinching the Scottish League One title in 2013–14. After his stint at Rangers, Peralta went back to Honduras to play for Olimpia. He also played for the Honduras national football team, earning 26 caps and competing in the 2012 Olympics. Tragically, his career came to an abrupt end when he was fatally shot in his hometown in 2015.
