She devoted her life to promoting women's education and protection, playing a key role in fighting against the prevailing machismo culture of her era. Her work was pivotal in empowering women and questioning societal conventions. In acknowledgment of her impact, Rosal was beatified in Rome in 1997, making her the first female Guatemalan to achieve this recognition.
