Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is a respected Ghanaian academic and politician. She previously served as Minister for Education from February 2013 to January 2017. Notably, she was the first female Vice-Chancellor of a state university in Ghana at the University of Cape Coast. Currently, she is the Chancellor at the Women's University in Africa. In the 2020 Ghanaian presidential election, she ran as the vice-presidential candidate alongside John Mahama on the NDC party ticket.
