Rebecca Akufo-Addo has a varied professional history, beginning as a secretary at Merchant Bank in Ghana and later working as a legal secretary for multinational law firms in the United Kingdom. As the First Lady of Ghana, she has dedicated her efforts to championing the fight against Malaria and malnutrition in children and adolescents. Her work in promoting women's health and combating infant mortality in Ghana and Africa has been widely recognized. In 2017, she established the Rebecca Akufo-Addo Foundation to provide support to women and children in Ghana.
