John Dramani Mahama is a prominent leader of Ghana. He belongs to a family who have been associated with the country’s politics for a very long time. His father was the first Member of Parliament of his constituency, thus, Dramani was well versed with politics since his childhood. As he grew up, he carried the political legacy of his family forward and turned out to be a great leader. He has appointed to different offices in the Ghana government before he assumed the position of the president of his nation. In fact, he is the first president who has been elected to almost all the different level positions in the government, before he was appointed the president. He has great leadership qualities which have helped him earn many varied posts and he proved his skills by performing his duties in these posts, in the best possible way. His governance has led his country towards progress and is still continuing to do so. This leader is concerned about the environment, especially the wide use of plastic and waste created by it, which creates pollution.
