Vladimer Khinchegashvili, a renowned Georgian freestyle wrestler, has achieved great success in the 55–61 kg weight categories. His accomplishments include winning a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics and a gold medal at the 2016 Olympics. He also secured a world title in 2015 and European titles in 2014, 2016, and 2017. In recognition of his athletic abilities, Khinchegashvili was named Male Georgian Athlete of the Year in 2015. Currently, he serves as the Mayor of Gori Municipality since 2021.
