(Finnish Former Ski Jumper) Tapio Räisänen is a Finnish former ski jumper who achieved success in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He won a gold medal in the individual large hill competition at the 1978 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti and secured a 6th place finish in the normal hill event at the same championships. Räisänen's notable career achievements include finishing 9th in a normal hill event in Bischofshofen, Austria in 1979, and claiming 1st place in the large hill event in Sapporo, Japan in 1980. Additionally, he placed 7th in the Ski Flying World Championships in Vikersund in 1977. His contributions to the sport were further recognized in 2012 when he was honored with the Tapio Räisänen Pro Sports Recognition Award worth 20,000 euros.
