Antti Hyvärinen

Antti Hyvärinen was a renowned Finnish ski jumper and coach, celebrated for his remarkable Olympic accomplishments. He won a gold medal in the normal hill event at the 1956 Olympics, a significant victory as a non-Norwegian athlete. Additionally, he excelled at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival and proudly carried Finland's flag at the 1956 Winter Olympics. Following an early retirement in 1957 due to injury, he went on to lead the Finnish ski jumping team as head coach from 1960 to 1964.
