(Finnish Former Javelin Thrower) Kimmo Kinnunen, a successful Finnish javelin thrower, has a remarkable track record in international competitions. He won a gold medal at the 1991 World Championships in Tokyo and a silver medal at the 1993 World Championships in Stuttgart. Kinnunen also achieved 4th place at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and 7th place at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. His personal best throw of 90.82 meters was set at the 1991 World Championships.
