Andrus Ansip

Andrus Ansip, an Estonian politician with a diverse background in chemistry, banking, and business, began his political career in 2004. He swiftly ascended to the role of Minister of Economic Affairs and subsequently served as Prime Minister of Estonia from 2005 to 2014. Following this, he transitioned to the European Parliament and held the esteemed positions of European Commissioner for Digital Single Market and Vice President of the European Commission from 2014 to 2019. Throughout his tenure, Ansip also chaired the liberal Estonian Reform Party.
