(Ecuadorian Professional Road Racing Cyclist) Juan Carlos Rosero García, an Ecuadorian professional road racing cyclist, competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics. After retiring from cycling, he became a teacher and founded a cycling club at his school. Rosero mentored Richard Carapaz, Ecuador's first European-based professional cyclist and Grand Tour winner. The club he started has helped develop other successful riders like Jhonatan Narváez and Jonathan Caicedo.
