Anna van der Breggen, a former Dutch professional road cyclist, is well-known for her exceptional skills in both one-day classics and stage races, particularly on hilly terrain. She competed for esteemed teams such as Team Flexpoint, Sengers Ladies Cycling Team, Rabo–Liv, and SD Worx during her career. Her accomplishments include winning an Olympic gold medal in 2016, multiple victories in the Giro d'Italia Femminile, and triumphs in prestigious races like La Flèche Wallonne, Liège–Bastogne–Liège, and the UCI Road World Championships. In 2021, van der Breggen retired from professional cycling and currently serves as a directeur sportif for Team SD Worx–Protime.
