Connie Nielsen is a Danish actress best known for her roles in the movies Gladiator, The Devil's Advocate, and Wonder Woman. She has also starred in television series Boss and The Following. Nielsen initially started acting along with her mother in local variety shows in Denmark and later moved to France and Italy to pursue her acting career. She made her debut with a French film and worked for Italian productions too before moving to the US. Her first major English film was The Devil's Advocate. Later, she went on to work in more films like Mission to Mars, One Hour Photo, Basic, The Hunted, The Ice Harvest and Nymphomaniac. Though a Danish actress, she worked in her first Danish film, Brødre, much later. Connie is fluent in eight languages and is also a trained singer and dancer. She is also the founder of ‘Human Needs Project’ and ‘Road To Freedom Scholarships’.
