(Czech Beach Volleyball Player) Markéta Sluková is a highly accomplished Czech beach volleyball player known for her success on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour. She was recognized as the FIVB World Tour Top Rookie in 2010 and has consistently ranked among the top fifteen teams globally. Some of her major achievements include a fifth-place finish at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, as well as winning three gold FIVB medals and one bronze FIVB medal in various competitions. Sluková partnered with Barbora Hermannová from August 2015 until 2021, and together they achieved notable success before unfortunately having to withdraw from the Tokyo Olympic Games due to a positive COVID-19 test.
