Marko Perković is a Croatian musician, acclaimed as the lead vocalist of the band Thompson since 1991. He rose to fame for his active role during the Croatian War of Independence and his patriotic track "Bojna Čavoglave". In 2002, Perković embarked on his inaugural major tour following the release of his album "E, moj narode". Since 2005, he has been organizing an unofficial commemoration of Victory Day in his hometown.
