Luka Šamanić, a Croatian professional basketball player, currently plays as a power forward for the Utah Jazz in the NBA. He was initially drafted by the San Antonio Spurs as the 19th overall pick in 2019. Šamanić began his basketball journey in Zagreb before moving to Barcelona to join FC Barcelona's reserve team. He has also represented Croatia in various FIBA events and played a key role in securing a gold medal at the FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship Division B in 2017, where he was honored with the most valuable player award.
