Patricia Mora Castellanos, a Costa Rican sociologist, university professor, and politician, has played key roles in numerous political parties and movements, including the People's Vanguard, Democratic Force, and Broad Front. She has actively engaged in social movements addressing various issues, such as ALCOA, the Energy Combo Bill, and free trade agreements with the United States. In the 2014 general election, Mora served as a deputy for the Broad Front and subsequently assumed the position of Minister of Women's Affairs in Costa Rica.
