Description:
(Chinese Essayist and Philosopher)
Mozi was a Chinese philosopher known for founding the school of Mohism, which emphasized universal love, social order, the will of heaven, sharing, and honoring the worthy. His philosophy stood in opposition to Confucianism and Daoism. Mohism was practiced in many states during the Warring States period but declined under the legalist Qin dynasty. It faced challenges during the Han dynasty when Confucianism became dominant, eventually leading to the disappearance of Mohism.
