Hamad Kalkaba Malboum is a prominent Cameroonian athletics official with a vast and distinguished career in sports administration. He has held key leadership positions in various organizations, including serving as President of the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) since 2003. Malboum has been instrumental in developing national sports federations in Cameroon, founding the country's baseball and softball federations, and playing a crucial role in the handball and athletics bodies. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the National Sports Office and headed the International Military Sports Council (CISM).
