Alain Patrice Nganang is an accomplished American writer, poet, and teacher of Cameroonian descent. Holding a Ph.D. in comparative literature, he has taught at prestigious institutions such as Vassar College and Shippensburg University. Currently a Professor of Comparative Literature at Stony Brook University, Nganang is a highly regarded novelist. His work "Temps de chien" has earned him prestigious literary awards including the Prix Littéraire Marguerite Yourcenar and the Grand prix littéraire d'Afrique noire.
