(Director) Lida Chan is a Cambodian filmmaker who started her career as an archivist focusing on Khmer Rouge archives at the Bophana Center in 2006. She later worked as a radio journalist for Radio France Internationale, reporting on the trial of former Khmer Rouge cadre Duch. Transitioning to documentary filmmaking in 2010, Lida Chan received training from acclaimed Cambodian filmmaker and producer Rithy Panh. She brings a distinctive perspective and a deep passion for storytelling to her work in the field.
