(Monk) Ashin Nandamalabhivamsa, also known as Rector Sayadaw, is a prominent Burmese Buddhist scholar-monk specializing in Abhidhamma. He serves as the chief abbot of Mahā Subodhāyon and rector of Sitagu International Buddhist Academy. With titles such as Abhidhaja Mahā Raṭṭha Guru and Agga Mahā Paṇḍita, he is an influential figure in the Shwekyin Nikāya monastic order. Ashin earned degrees from Sri Lanka and India, and previously led the International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University. In 2022, he established the University of Wisdom Land and now serves as its chancellor.
