Hsinbyushin

Description: (King of Myanmar)
Hsinbyushin, the king of the Konbaung dynasty in Burma, was a militaristic ruler who successfully defended against Qing China and invaded Ayutthaya. He pursued an expansionist policy, capturing Laotian states and sacking Ayutthaya. His decision to wage wars against China and Siam simultaneously almost led to the kingdom losing its independence. Under his rule, the state remained heavily militarized, resulting in mistreatment of the population by army commanders. Hsinbyushin passed away in 1776 due to a long illness amidst ongoing conflicts in Siam and Manipur.
