Jackie Silva

Jackie Silva is a Brazilian retired female volleyball player who achieved success in both indoor and beach volleyball. She first played for the Brazilian women's national volleyball team at a young age, competing in the Olympics in 1980 and 1984. Silva's partnership with Sandra Pires led to a gold medal in the inaugural women's beach volleyball tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Known for her aggressive playing style and advocacy for gender equality, Silva was inducted into the International Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2006.
