Jasna Kolar-Merdan, a former Bosnian and Yugoslav handball player, had an illustrious career spanning multiple Olympic Games. She achieved a silver medal in 1980 and a gold medal in 1984 as part of the Yugoslav team, demonstrating her exceptional scoring abilities. In 1990, she was honored as the World Handball Player by the International Handball Federation.
