Carlos Blanco Galindo

Carlos Blanco Galindo was a Bolivian general and lawyer who served as the 32nd president of Bolivia on an interim basis from 1930 to 1931. He led an insurrection that removed Hernando Siles from power during political crises, including the Great Depression. Blanco's primary responsibility during his presidency was to organize new elections, which occurred within seven months. He later served as Ambassador to Uruguay and briefly returned to active duty during the Chaco War with Paraguay. Blanco also wrote several books before his passing in 1943.
