(Diplomat, Writer) Tristán Marof, a Bolivian diplomat, writer, essayist, and journalist, was well-known for his commitment to labor movements and Marxist-Leninist organizations. He held the position of Consul of Bolivia in Europe and played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Socialist Workers' Party of Bolivia in 1940.
