(Sprinter) Tashi Dendup, a male sprinter from Bhutan, made a name for himself at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics held in Beijing, China. He participated in the 100 meters event and set a Bhutanese record during the Championships, which has since been surpassed. Dendup now holds the Bhutanese record for the long jump. Despite feeling unsatisfied with his performance, he managed to achieve a remarkable personal best and a national record improvement at the Championships.
