(politician) Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed, a Bangladeshi politician, served as a Member of Parliament and as the Minister of Social Welfare from 2001 to 2007. He held a prominent position in the Al-Badr paramilitary force in 1971 and was found guilty of war crimes during the Liberation War of Bangladesh. In 2013, the International Crimes Tribunal-2 sentenced him to death for crimes such as genocide, conspiracy to kill intellectuals, and abduction. He was executed in 2015 after his review petition was rejected by the High Court. Mojaheed was also the Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami until his death.
