Khetag Gazyumov

Khetag Gazyumov is a retired freestyle wrestler of Ossetian origin who competed for both Russia and Azerbaijan. He excelled in the 96 kg weight category, winning bronze medals at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, as well as a silver at the 2016 Rio Games. Throughout his career, he also secured numerous gold and silver medals at European and world championships between 2009 and 2014, as well as a gold at the 2015 European Games. Despite facing challenges due to a cardiac arrhythmia, Gazyumov continued to compete at a high level.
