Hannes Trinkl

Hannes Trinkl, an Austrian former alpine skier, excelled in downhill and Super-G events. He earned a bronze medal in the downhill at the 1998 Winter Olympics and claimed his first World Cup victory in a Super-G race in 1993. Following his retirement in 2004, Trinkl transitioned to roles within the skiing community, including serving as a race director for Alpine Skiing World Cup competitions. He later became the race director for men's speed events on the World Cup and is in charge of setting courses for male downhill races in various prestigious competitions.
