Grant Hackett, a retired Australian swimmer, is widely recognized for his exceptional accomplishments in distance swimming. He clinched two Olympic gold medals in the men's 1500 meters freestyle race at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics and also won a gold medal in the 4 × 200 meters freestyle relay. Hackett set various long-course world records and secured 10 long-course world championship gold medals.
