Allan Border

Allan Border, an Australian cricket commentator and former international cricketer, was a successful left-hand batsman and occasional left-arm orthodox spinner. He captained the Australian team for many years, leading them to victory in the 1987 Cricket World Cup. Border played 156 Test matches, held records for most Test runs and consecutive Test appearances, and was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He is recognized as a sports legend in Queensland and continues to be celebrated for his contributions to cricket.
