Hosna Jalil is an Afghan trailblazer who became the first woman to hold a high Interior Ministry post in Afghanistan. With a master's degree in business and management from the American University of Afghanistan and another master's in Strategic Security Studies from the National Defense University in Washington, she brings a strong educational background to her role. Her experience includes serving as Deputy Minister for Policy and Planning in the Ministry of Women’s Affairs and as an advisory board member of the GLO.ACT Women’s Network at UNODC, focusing on combating human trafficking and smuggling of migrants.
