Anarkali Kaur Honaryar is a Sikh Afghan political leader, dentist, physician, and women's rights activist. She is the first non-Muslim to become a member of Afghan Parliament. A well-known human rights activist, Anarkali Kaur Honaryar received the UNESCO-Madanjeet Singh Prize for the Promotion of Tolerance and Non-Violence for her efforts to help women fight against domestic abuse and gender discrimination.
