She organized events in Kabul to promote women's rights and used social media to reach a large audience. Unfortunately, she was tragically assassinated near her home in Afghanistan's Kapisa province at the age of 29. Despite receiving threats, Kohistani had sought protection from authorities, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her cause.
