(King of Afghanistan from 1929 to 1933) Mohammed Nadir Shah reigned as the King of Afghanistan from 1929 until his murder in 1933. Prior to his role as the king of Afghanistan, Nadir Khan served as Minister of War and as a general in the Armed Forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. He was also a diplomat and served as the Afghan Ambassador to France.
