Annet Mahendru is an Indian-American actress, best known for her portrayal of Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX’s drama series ‘The Americans’ that earned her a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination. Born to a Hindu Indian journalist and a Russian businesswoman, she spent her early years travelling across multiple places, including Europe, Afghanistan and Russia. Mahendru studied at East Meadow High School, eventually graduating in 2004. She then went on to attend St. John's University in New York City. Although passionate about acting and dance, she opted to attend NYU to earn a master's degree. However, she later dropped out to pursue her dream career. Since 2006, Mahendru has appeared in several TV shows and films, and has earned a reputation her brilliant acting skills. The gorgeous actress is multilingual; she knows several languages, including French, Hindi, Russian, English, German, and Persian.
