With his family immigrating from Brazil, Mitchell Altieri turned to movies to help him practice the English language. That's where he fell in love with cinema. Years later he would become an award-winning Writer/Director who has premiered his feature films at such festivals as Sundance, SXSW, Berlin, Sitges, and Fantasia.
