Janusz Rewinski

Description:

Janusz Rewinski is a Polish actor, satirist, and politician. He completed his education at the National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow in 1972. During his studies, he performed in Spotkanie z ballada (1972). He was an actor at the Polish Theater in Poznan, where he performed in the roles of Waclaw and Papkin in Aleksander Fredro's "Zemsta". He gained popularity through his performances in the "Kabaret Olgi Lipinskiej". He appeared in numerous movies, including Podróze pana Kleksa (1986) and Kiler (1997). He also starred in TV series like Sukces (2000) and Tygrysy Europy (2003). In the early 90s, he was among the founders of the TV program and association "Skauci Piwni", later transformed into the Polish Beer-Lovers' Party. He was elected a deputy of the first term in the parliamentary elections in 1991 from the list of this party.

Trivia On the wave of democratic changes, Janusz Rewinski tried his hand at politics. In the early 1990s, he founded the "Beer Scouts" association (the name of one of the TV programs), on the basis of which the Polish Party of Beer Friends was founded. In the 1991 parliamentary elections, he was elected a member of parliament of the first term from this party's list .
