American director of second features. A former editor, he was signed to a five-year contract at Warner Brothers in 1936, during which he handled several of the Nancy Drew mysteries. After 1941 he worked at Paramount and RKO, for the latter notably on four installments of "The Falcon"' series starring Tom Conway.
