David Giancola

Description:

David Giancola has been an Iconoclast from an early age. At 19, with no training and a meager budget he wrote and directed the cult science fiction film "Time Chasers". Giancola has directed and/or produced over twenty-five feature films including "Icebreaker", "Lightning - Fire From The Sky", "Moonlight & Mistletoe" and "Axcellerator". He was elected an IATSE Local 600 cinematographer in 2003. Giancola has repeatedly demonstrated a perceptive gift for spotting new talent. He cast the likes of Jessie Eisenberg, Chris Evans, Kate Bosworth, Paul Dano, Josh Peck, and even Billy Ray Cyrus in their first starring roles. Giancola also wrote and directed the critically acclaimed Documentary; "Addicted To Fame" which the late Roger Ebert called; "Probably the best movie about the making of a B-Movie ever made". He is the founder and owner of Edgewood Studios.
