Auguste Le Breton was born on 18 February 1913 in Lesneven, Finistère, France. He was a writer and actor, known for Du rififi chez les hommes (1955), The Good Thief (2002) and Du rififi chez les femmes (1959). He died on 31 May 1999 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Yvelines, France.
