Joanne graduated from Cambridge University, joining the BBC Film where she quickly rose to become one of their lead executives. Over the next two decades she wrote and produced over forty hours of drama and feature length documentaries before joining Red Bull to head up their Global Cinema Division. In 2020, Joanne transitioned to directing, completing her debut feature "This Is The Night Mail" before joining Chris Martin of Coldplay and Emmanuel Kelly's Outlyer Entertainment as their Head of Film & TV in 2022.
